Forever Card – Sitting Magpie

A$35.00

Hand painted with care, this Forever Card features a much-loved Australian magpie, sitting quietly and taking it all in.

There's something about a magpie that feels so familiar to us Aussies. We hear them singing, see them hopping around the garden and, of course, know to keep an eye out when they're nesting! This little maggie starts life as a card before becoming a piece of artwork to treasure and display indoors or outdoors.

Each Forever Card includes a beautiful paper card for your handwritten message and an envelope – the complete gift package.

Once the card has been given, it's ready to hang with the pre-fitted hanging wire. A card that keeps on giving!

Materials:

Painted on recycled corrugated iron using external house paint and finished with a coat of lacquer for added protection.

Care Instructions:

Let me shed some light on how I care for these distinctive paintings. In my own yard, these pieces find their place in different settings: full sunlight, outside but under cover, or bravely exposed to the elements. Each year I rinse them off and spray with either Accent Quickspray Clear Gloss or Rust-Oleum Ultra Cover 2X Gloss Clear. Both products are fast-drying, and will leave your painting touch dry in 10 minutes; it can be used on a metal surface providing a durable finish.

Disclaimer:

When purchasing hand painted art, there may be slight variations in colour, texture, and overall appearance. As each piece is individually created by hand, there is a special uniqueness and character with each artwork.
